Delicious Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 1 and 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup of whole milk
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round baking pan.
- In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and beat until well combined.
- Gradually add the boiling water to the batter, mixing continuously until the batter is smooth and well blended.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Frost with your favorite frosting and enjoy!
